Every time I see this sideboard I smile. I still remember the magic moment when, while sitting at the craftsman’s desk, he finally „got“ what I had been endlessly describing and hopelessly trying to draw. He started sketching, almost in a trance. As I saw the image take form I exclaimed „That’s it! That’s it!“. I still get goosebumps.
Conceived from a vision in my mind’s eye with the patient listening and technical expertise of a master craftsman in Germany, this piece makes a statement.
